The recent and highly amusing condemnation of D Blunkett has inspired me to ask this question.

Why do women fall for these middle aged and some might say ugly men..does the attraction lie in acquiring money and power,in Mrs Quinn's case I'd disagree as she is quite able to live as she pleases..
............................................................
However we had Ulrika Jonsson and Sven Goran Eriksson..the Scotland Manager Craig Brown and his sexual prowess was certainly an improvement on his time in the job.
............................................................
Perhaps the strangest pairing has to be the diminutive and very nerdy Bernie Eccelstone big wig of F1 racing ..at 5ft his wife towers over him and is 1 very sexy lady who could have the pick of the pit lane.

I can well imagine the horror of lying down next to Michael Howard,Angus Deayton, Margaret Beckett or even Princess Anne,so the mind does indeed boggle.

ya know, i have absolutely no idea, lol. I can't imagine why women would want to go out with these much older men ... beauty though, is in the eye of the beholder, and looks aren't everything, but with the majority of these high profile relationships, personality apparently would appear not to be everything either. However, a lot of these relationships could perhaps be fuelled by status? how good would you look on the arm of Sven, of the F1 guy, ... any famous, high profile person who perhaps commands the respect of the nation, and if you had a bit of that, you could share the lime light. As for Mr Blunkett ... well I hope that bitch Kimberly Quinn finds it hard to sleep at night, and i hope he wins his access claim ... but maybe less said ...

Attraction's a funny thing, and I think for many, wealth and power and social status and fame can seem attractive. Also, you can have a person who's not so good-looking but is a decent person. You can also avhe somebody who's very beautiful and who can be a total monster.
